  • Application Process: We will conduct a criminal background check and a motor vehicle records check if required for your job. Additionally, you will be required to pass a drug screening and physical prior to being considered for employment.

    The Types of Jobs We Offer

    • General Laborers: Receive, sort, and prepare various types of scrap in our yard and warehouse for shipment to mills and foundries. These positions typically do not require licenses or certifications prior to employment.
    • Truck Drivers and Equipment Operators: Operate material handlers, loaders, forklifts, and other processing equipment. Previous training, licenses, and/or certifications (e.g., commercial driver’s license) may be required.
    • Maintenance and Fabrication: Maintain our trucks, equipment, buildings, and property to ensure safe and efficient operations.
    • Support Team: Office staff roles such as vehicle dispatcher, scale operator, office manager, and yard operations manager.

    Work Environment

    Many of our positions require working outdoors and exposure to various weather conditions. Therefore, you may be required to work in rain, snow, heat, or cold. Brenner Recycling maintains a drug-free workplace.
